Focuses on providing clinical learning experiences in the coordination and delivery of complex acute, complex chronic, and critical care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults and their families. Offers clinical practice experiences across settings and continuum of care acuity and complexity. Facilitates knowledge, and attitudinal competencies and skills in the delivery of care to children with a focus on complex acute and critical health issues. Emphasizes assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex acute, complex chronic, and critical conditions and illnesses encountered in infancy, childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Builds on a foundation of practice behaviors in health assessment, health promotion, and disease prevention.
