Builds on a foundation of practice behaviors in health assessment, health promotion, and disease prevention. Enhances prior knowledge, and attitudinal competencies and skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with acute and chronic health issues across a variety of settings and continuum of care. Focuses on providing clinical learning experiences in the coordination and delivery of care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults and their families within the context of their culture and community.
