Introduces time value of money calculations and applications. Builds upon a basis in accounting to offer students an opportunity to learn how to extract relevant information from the accounting statements for use in financial calculations and ratio analysis. Examines capital planning including determining relevant cash flows, calculating decision measures, and making the correct decisions.
