Focuses on investigating business and user needs and defining change strategy through quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. Emphasizes business analysis planning and monitoring. Studies the design of data collection instruments and varied elicitation techniques. Applies theories and practices in strategy analysis using design thinking, behavior change design, and business architecture. Examines the role of the business analyst as a negotiator, mediator, facilitator, and consensus builder.
