PHTH 7440 — Advanced Methods in Biostatistics

3 semester hoursGraduateLecture

Extends general and generalized linear models to applications and structures that create dependent data. Uses a multilevel approach to model-clustered or group data that can arise from data collected at different layers or longitudinally across time. Examines the analyses of data from complex survey designs where stratification, sampling units, and sampling weights need to be incorporated into the analyses. Explores the underlying principles for these approaches and specific statistical approaches for analyses. Uses R and RStudio to analyze various datasets.
