Offers students an opportunity to obtain foundational concepts and skills in music technology, audio research, and music production. Topics include the physics of sound, acoustics, and psychoacoustics to understand sound fundamentals; signal processing, sound synthesis, and analysis to explore audio technologies; practical applications using audio editors, digital audio workstations, and MIDI in music production; and basic electronics related to audio equipment.
