Introduces principles and practices of product management that integrate business strategy, design thinking, and technology product development. Examines how technical product managers identify customer problems, define opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to market. Explores problem discovery methods, user research techniques, persona development, product vision formulation, and technical requirements planning through the product requirements document framework. Covers ideation frameworks, minimum viable product design, product roadmapping, prioritization methods, and metrics for measuring product success. Offers students opportunities to apply product management frameworks to real-world client challenges through hands-on workshops and a semester-long team project that culminates in a product pitch presentation.
