Emphasizes value chain analysis and the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, or SWOT, matrix to determine how businesses compete; introduces modern supervised and unsupervised machine learning models; and uses case studies to examine how different areas of the organization contribute to a business analytics capability. Discusses real-world examples of how businesses have enhanced prediction, customer service, and handled ethical considerations.
