Studies best practices for producing digital stories for various types of audiences in effective and appropriate ways. Offers students an opportunity to create projects for a range of platforms, on diverse topics, leveraging a broad set of technologies. Discusses ways the history of online storytelling and social media continue to impact norms and approaches today. Introduces modern channels and platforms to understand how to produce stories in effective ways to reach diverse sets of audiences. Guides students through creating strategic and cohesive media campaigns to tell stories across online distribution channels.
