Presents a range of tools and methods for creating new products that benefit health and well-being across the life span. Focuses on overall product design methodology including the identification of customer needs, generation of product concepts, prototyping, and minimal viable product development. Examines differences in regulatory processes for the FDA, medical devices, and digital therapeutics. Reviews key concepts such as needs assessment, market estimation, and go-to-market strategies related to the full product development life cycle. Culminates with a comprehensive product proposal and pitch.
