FINA 6406 — Finance Seminar

Structures discussion of topics in the finance literature. Students read and present the works of leading researchers. Topics include corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and ESG. Applies agency theory and practice to the issues raised. Discusses legal and ethical considerations that are especially important in corporate-control issues. Utilizes data and software from the WRDS database to measure financial relationships.
