Designed for students transitioning into chemical engineering or returning to academics, this course examines some of the fundamental principles of the discipline. Topics include macroscopic and microscopic mass analyses, the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics, phase and chemical reaction equilibrium, chemical reaction kinetics, and reactor design. Focuses on applying and solving mathematical formulations of the underlying equations.
