Designed for students transitioning into chemical engineering or returning to academics, this course examines some of the fundamental principles of the discipline. Topics include vector and tensor calculus, continuum mechanics and thermodynamics, macroscopic and microscopic analyses of mass, momentum, and energy conservation, and how they are transported. Focuses on applying and solving mathematical formulations of the underlying equations.
