BUSN 6406 — AI Organizational Readiness Analysis

Examines organizational preparation for generative AI implementation through systematic readiness assessment. Applies a five-category framework—strategic alignment, resources, knowledge, culture, and data—to evaluate organizational capacity for AI adoption. Students analyze real organizations using an 18-factor assessment model, identify critical readiness gaps, and design targeted interventions. Emphasizes responsible AI considerations and the interconnection between organizational readiness and employee AI literacy. Uses case analysis and strategic planning to offer students an opportunity to develop implementation road maps that prioritize actions based on organizational context (chosen by the student) and AI objectives and to master analytical frameworks applicable to AI transformation initiatives across industries and organizational types.
