Offers a critical historical survey of interactive media from analog to digital techniques and from physical to virtual spaces. Offers students an opportunity to examine the social, ethical, and cultural impact of interactive media and to implement design projects addressing current issues and directions in interactive media. Considers a wide range of current and historical aspects of interactive media and design through weekly lectures, artistic research projects, and critical analyses.
