Offers students an opportunity to develop competence in futures thinking as both ethical imperative and essential sustainability skill. Introduces and practices practical foresight techniques such as scenario construction and simulation, trend analysis, and horizon scanning while engaging with theoretical and ethical frameworks of anticipatory decision making. Incorporates experiential learning through the analysis and development of simulations, games, and collaborative research skills.
