SLPA 5302 — Intensive Language Development

Presents a foundation in current research and theories regarding the development of first language in children, as well as communication changes relevant to adolescents. Discusses the application of various theoretical perspectives and examines how to recognize examples of communication development in the everyday behavior of children. Emphasizes techniques used to analyze and understand speech and language performance.
