NTR 6202 — The Financing of Nutrition and Wellness

Assesses the impact that public and private funding has on health communication and nutrition campaigns. Compares campaigns and approaches in the United States with those in other countries. Focuses on the role of various global stakeholders, including but not limited to policymakers, employers, and insurance companies, in controlling healthcare costs. Offers students an opportunity to develop local, national, and/or global policy recommendations for supporting better nutrition practices among a diverse population.
