Strengthen their abilities in collaboration, clinical decision making, effective communication, cultural sensitivity, use of equipment and techniques, evidence-based practice, planning for routine and emergent care, and evaluation of disease processes in the neonate. Refine entry-level practice assessment and skills including therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as the student prepares for entry into practice.
