Introduces students to the fundamental concepts, theories, and applications of geospatial science and technology. Geospatial science involves the study of spatial data, its analysis, and its representation using various technologies. Offers students an opportunity to obtain a solid understanding of the principles underlying geographic information systems, remote sensing, cartography, and spatial analysis. Provides a strong foundation for students interested in pursuing careers in geospatial technology, urban planning, environmental science, natural resource management, geography, and related fields.
