Explores Latinx literary voices alongside primary source materials to account for the rich, multilingual, multiethnic, multigenre writing tradition that shapes Latinx American literature. Examines texts from autobiographies, novels, short stories, poems, plays, and performance art to engage the histories and presence of Indigenous communities, the politics of migration and exile, and the ongoing dynamics of colonization.
