Presents co-op policies, procedures, and expectations of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and co-op employers. Students assess their workplace skills, interests, and values and discuss how they impact personal career choices. Offers students an opportunity to learn how to prepare a professional-style resumé, proper interviewing techniques, and to understand what is available to them for co-op. Introduces career paths, choices, professional behaviors, work culture, and career decision making. Covers workplace issues relative to individual fields of study and demonstrates how to use university systems in the job search. Prerequisite for co-op participation.
