DANC 2180 — Performing Masculinity in the Ballet Canon

Emphasizes a specific dimension of movements within the ballet form. Studies turns and jumps that are particular to traditional male roles in ballet repertoire. Open to all dance majors and is a supplementary technique course offered twice per week. Requires students taking this course to attend a five-day-per-week technique course. May be repeated twice.
