Bridges the technical foundations of AI ethics with the emerging landscape of AI policy and regulation. Offers students an opportunity to develop critical intellectual capacities to understand and address ethical and policy challenges in AI development and deployment. Explores multidisciplinary concepts ranging from statistical learning theories and fairness metrics to regulatory frameworks; value-sensitive design; and sectoral policy implications across healthcare, education, labor markets, and democratic institutions.
