Explores artificial intelligence applications across the therapeutic development pipeline, from target discovery through clinical implementation. Covers multi-omics data integration, protein structure prediction with AlphaFold, molecular docking and drug design, ADME-Tox prediction, knowledge graphs for drug repurposing, and generative AI for molecule design. Examines clinical data analysis using natural language processing, medical imaging AI, multimodal data integration for precision medicine, and computational approaches to clinical trial design. Emphasizes biological interpretation of AI outputs and integration with experimental workflows. Offers students an opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with industry-standard computational tools using real biological datasets and to build competencies for roles in computational biology, bioinformatics, and AI-enabled drug discovery.
