Introduces key strategies, methodologies, and frameworks in user experience design for designing visual interfaces on the web. Discusses UX design principles for visual interfaces, including devices with graphical user interfaces such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Focuses on key considerations in usability such as navigation and information architecture; user research methods like personas, wireframes, and design specifications; and usability evaluation. Introduces fundamentals of programming for building interfaces in a web browser, using input interactivity, adapting for responsive design, and meeting web accessibility standards. Examines the use of UX design to iteratively ideate, sketch, wireframe, prototype, and evaluate the usability of visual interfaces to generate user-centered and data-driven designs.
